Brief description of plastic containers
Dec 24, 2018

The plastic container, that is, the hollow blow molded container, is processed by a hollow molding method. There are open plastic barrels, cans and closed plastic barrels and cans, open plastic barrels and cans are mainly used for holding solid chemicals, foods, medicines, etc. Closed plastic barrels and cans are mainly used for liquid substances. It is lightweight, non-fragile, corrosion-resistant and recyclable. It has a maximum volume of 450L and a maximum load of 400kg.

Production Process

Plastic containers must pay attention to the following problems in the design and production process: inflation, elongation, vertical load strength, container rigidity, bearing surface, cap thread, shape and outer surface and molding, temperature, pressure, etc., to ensure The mechanical properties, formability, mold structure and processing rationality of the plastic container and the conditions of use of the container. The process flow is: mixing→screw extrusion→clamping→blow molding→opening→cooling→trimming→inspection.

Quality requirements

For plastic containers used as transport packaging for export commodities, the inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the SN/T0271-93 "Inspection Procedures for the Inspection and Export of Plastic Containers for Exported Goods" and shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T13508-92 "Polyethylene Blowing Buckets".

(1) Appearance: The wall thickness ratio of the symmetrical part of the barrel is not more than 2:1, no blisters, no plasticization, the outer wall and mouth are smooth and smooth, no more than 2 bubbles with a diameter of not more than 2mm, and the black spot impurity length is not More than 4mm, the barrel mouth parts are closely combined and the interchangeability is good.
